A HEARTFELT EMOTION, A Symphony in Poetry

A Synopsis in poetry; based on the feelings and emotions of Clementine, the main character in the A Woman in Love series.

In this trilogy, Clementine fell deeply in love now her life has become filled with mystery and complications. She lashes out in verses maintaining her confidence along with her esteem as Ravel plagues her with inconsistencies.

His intoxicating love-making, philandering, violent outbursts, and slander bring about heartfelt emotions

as her heart sings out in poetic songs depicting the strength of her state of mind. Unable to let him go she holds on to a psychotic love.

Deception, Addiction, and finally Double-Cross — feelings of anxiety, anguish, mistrust, frustration, and passion — as well as I should say mostly; love, have come together to create this brief combination of poems. As a woman myself, using my own imaginings to interpret the emotional rollercoaster that I created in Clementine. I dove deep into my soul and aroused what I felt would be memorable poems. Considering all aspects of feelings that would be involved while writing this compilation of poetry and how our emotions interpret our hearts. I also gave into the realm of what life means and how our environment affects us as people, and as lovers in general. Women who are sometimes considered the weaker sex and oftentimes taken for granted. I’ve provided a little push to vent life’s frustrations. I’m trying to work up to what I consider to be the best of me. I think this is a great start and I hope you will too!

A HEART FELT EMOTION

Can’t you hear me?

I’m so proud

I stand up tall

I speak out loud

You act as if I’m keeping you

You posture

You stare

You glare

You disappear…

I want so much for you to appreciate

For you to congratulate

But all you do is speculate

“Put it in a book” you say

“Write a poem about that”

You walk away…

Why don’t you have any interest?

Why all the dismissiveness

I feel like such a fool

Being in love with you;

Why can’t you share my, Heart Felt Emotion?

The tool that keeps me focused

The engine that drives me wild

Passionately thrives me

Emotions that ignite flames in my brain

That fills my heart to no end

Turns on my soul and never lets go!

Emotion so deep, like love without speech

Without motion, without release, intensity, without retreat

The flame in my heart your love making starts

The howl in the wind as fall creeps in

My mind, my soul, my spirit, my heart, constricts…

How can you be a part of me?

When you don’t even know my Heart Felt Emotion;

Both bitter and sweet,

Genuine to me.

Now as darkness falls…

So does my desire for you to hear me

After all, my Heart Felt Emotion; is all your fault!
