Literaturist C. Dale Baldwin; a native of Brooklyn, New York. I grew up reading and wanting to write my own stories. My heart felt full when I’d ride the train to and from work captivated by novels as I’d go. I always felt in my heart that writing was my calling and I began to write after the 911 disaster when I escaped with my life and then God spoke to me, so I decided to make writing my mission. I want to show that love is complicated and that it isn’t always pure, true, or good. It takes a strong woman to love herself enough that she can stay strong through the bad times as well as the good.
My poems I think explore the emotions of women, our feelings and sentiments, our excitement and desires, and how we love. I want to show that love is complicated but don’t give up. My husband is my muse and through his personality, I find the qualities, temperament, and traits of my male characters. I love to travel and together we take trips which gives me perspective on other cultures and countries.
I base my Novels on relationships with the ups and downs that go along with them. Stories that I feel take my readers to places where they can picture themselves, and enjoy the ride as they’re transported to another life. Picture yourself there and speculate on your thoughts of being in similar situations or the happiness of sincere love’s prance. Allow me to transport you into visions unknown…
